Jellies & Jaffas Review
This week I'll be stepping a bit aside the "Events bubble" to focus on a SOSTAC Review to an Online Confectionary Start-up. I think that we learn from doing, so it's really important to pay attention to details so we can apply the knowledge in the future.
From a UX perspective, she took advantage of the good looking sweets so it's an article that you want to read, although there's a chart and a Salesforce report that are too small for the reader.
In terms of content, and by a humble and non-expert perspective, Michelle has done an amazing work clarifying the situation and making the reader understand the WHY. As she says: "Sweet treats
and everything sugar is as popular as ever" and she explain us the HOW by applying her digital knowledge to sell a very traditional product. I love the way she wants to stand out of competition not only in product, but also in Strategy, creating a better Costumer experience on the website and Social Media, as well as having a detailed plan to measure the ROI of the different sources she is going to use.
When she details the "Objectives" she talks about the Logo & Branding Strategy, maybe it would have been more visual to use the 5-S Model such as "Monzo". Although I find that the way of having the best results is not how you put them on a paper, but how she is going to optimize all the work and being able to do pertinent changes among time and in a lean way.
I wish her good & sweet luck in her business :)
