Website Design

User Experience (UX) focuses on having a deep understanding of users, what they need, what they value, their abilities and also their intentions [1] behind this science, there's the concept of Wireframing, or creating a visual draft of the organization of a page before the creative phase gets under way.

Through their Website layout a company can show its value proposition, and define a call to action to interact with its customers. Taking a look at the e-commerce industry, Wireframing is an art, and through global or local trends, you can get reliable data on which distributions to use in your website for more conversions when a customer is in.

Talking about trends, did you know that, according to a Hubspot study, the best color to display a "buy" call to action is Red? [2] Apparently the battle in the E-Commerce ecosystem is between the color of passion and Green, although there we have Amazon with its Orange empire playing in another league.

Now we are talking!

  3. Hi Júlia, nice post!

Really interest stuff in there about the influence of colours on call-to-action effectiveness. It's crazy what a difference those subtle design choices can make & how we just subconsciously get influenced by them without even realising.
